He wasn't even sure he should be emailing this guy. It just didn't seem like Ross's style to leave him with an email address written on his hand. Besides, there were too many unanswered questions about this supposed Bruce Banner.

He only vaguely remembered what had happened leading up to the fight and then it was all a blank spot. But he's almost certain there was another....something. It's hard to pick apart what he saw for sure and what he thought he saw.

Bruce sits with his laptop in a dirty apartment somewhere the next town over. His laptop isn't exactly state of the art but it's outdated enough that it shouldn't raise any flags on the internet. He wasn't even going to use the previous code name he had used, Mr. Green. The General would certainly be looking out for that.

That raises a smile from him. He could get used to this, having another him. What was that song....one is the loneliest number?

"Not that I believe you, but thanks for saying it." Of course, if they were from different realities, there was no guarantee that he would end up like this other Bruce. "...it might be different for me..." Some days, he wishes he could just end it all. But he keeps going because he has to.

Together they could be unstoppable. There are pretty brilliant minds apart. But combined is scary intelligent. And it was very nice. This man got what Bruce was trying to say.

"Its okay. Where you are now..I wouldn't have believed me either." He runs a hand through his hair. "I wouldn't have believed me six months ago. It will probably be different for you. But once you get control ,things will get better."

Sigh. "I was afraid you'd say that." As much as control would be nice, not having the Hulk at all would be much nicer. And Bruce isn't quite ready to accept this.....thing....as a part of him just yet.

But there is something he wants to say, while he can. "Listen, if you can, maybe....you should check on Betty." Even if it wasn't his universe, he would want to know she was ok. If things were better, maybe now it was safer to do that. If he was ever back to normal, he would be running back to her in a heartbeat.
